ETI provided technical support to the Kishori Utkarsh Pahel Project led by CSRBOX and DCM Shriram under the Government of Gujarat. ETI worked to create interactive modules for training to reach more than 3500+ young girls across 58 districts of the state on issues including menstruation, nutrition, sexual and reproductive healthcare, leadership building, agency, legal rights and knowledge of government schemes and programs. Various tools like diaries, plays, songs, pledges, group sessions were used as modes and training of trainers was developed. The aim of the project is to assist adolescent girls with quality education, and preparing them in the areas of menstrual health, hygiene, and nutrition. It also aims to serve them with life skills, rights and their entitlements, to make them ready for a better role in the society. The program focuses on all adolescent girls including school-going girls, drop-outs, and out-of-school girls to ensure every girl who has been at a disadvantage is included.
